Terms of sale and use

What you are buying, who you are buying it from, how long you have it, and what happens if something goes wrong.

1.Who you are contracting with

These terms apply to every order you place on this website, learningandteachinghub.co.uk. When you place an order you make a contract with:

Company
LEARNING & TEACHING HUB LIMITED
Company number
17001284, registered in England and Wales at Companies House
Incorporated
30 January 2026
Registered office
Flat 66, 85 Sudbury House, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 4LH
Email
hello@learningandteachinghub.co.uk

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the Hub” mean LEARNING & TEACHING HUB LIMITED, and “you” means the person who places the order. Our payment provider acts as the merchant of record for the sale: it takes your payment and deals with the tax on it. The courses, the access to them and any help you need are provided by us, and these terms govern them.

2.About the courses

Every course we sell is a recorded, streamed-only course for school teachers. You watch the lessons online, in your own time. Please read the following before you buy, because it describes what you are and are not getting.

  • Recorded, not live. There is no live teaching and no scheduled session. You can pause, stop and return to a lesson whenever you like during your access period.
  • Streamed only. The lessons are watched on the website. There are no files to download, and we do not post anything to you.
  • No marking and no tutor. Nobody assesses or marks your work. Practice tasks and reflection prompts are for your own use.
  • Not an accredited qualification. A course does not lead to a degree, a teaching qualification, qualified teacher status or any other regulated qualification. If we offer a certificate of completion, it is the Hub’s own certificate, it shows only that you have worked through the course, and it carries no regulatory status.
  • Not a substitute for your school’s own processes. A course does not replace your school’s induction, mandatory safeguarding training, or the advice of a SENCo, a senior leader or another specialist who knows your pupils.

The description on each course page (what it covers, how many lessons it has and roughly how long they take) is accurate at the time you order. Courses are general professional development: they do not give legal, medical or psychological advice.

3.Ordering and prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). The price in your basket and at checkout is the price you pay. It includes taxes where they apply, and there are no delivery charges because nothing is delivered by post.

You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on a secure payment page run by our payment provider. You enter your card details there and not on our website, and we never see or store them. We pass the name, email and address details you give us at checkout to our payment provider so that the payment page only has to ask for your payment details.

The payment page may offer to charge you in a local currency instead of pounds sterling. If it does, the exchange rate and any conversion fee are shown on that page before you confirm, and you can choose to pay in pounds sterling instead.

Your order is accepted when your payment is confirmed. We then show you your order page, which carries an order reference in the form LTH-XXXXXXXXXX, and we send your access details as described in section 5. If we have shown a price wrongly, we will tell you before we take payment, or refund you in full if the payment has already been taken, and you may then decide whether to buy at the correct price.

These terms are written for people buying as consumers, for their own professional development. If you buy on behalf of a school or another organisation, the contract is still with us on these terms, but rights that the law gives only to consumers, including the right to cancel in section 4, apply only if you are a consumer in law.

4.Your right to cancel

The 14-day right

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, a consumer who buys online normally has 14 days to cancel a contract without giving a reason. For digital content, those 14 days run from the day the contract is made.

Why it ends when access begins

A course is digital content that you stream. The law lets you lose your right to cancel digital content once it begins to be supplied to you, if you have asked for that and acknowledged it. At checkout you tick a box that says:

I understand this is a recorded, streamed-only course with no live teaching. I ask for access to begin as soon as my access details are sent, and I understand that I lose my 14-day right to cancel once access begins (see the Terms).

This means that access begins as soon as we send you your access details, and from that moment your right to cancel under the 2013 Regulations ends.

Cancelling before access begins

Until your access details have been sent, you may cancel the order for any reason. Email hello@learningandteachinghub.co.uk with your order reference and say that you wish to cancel. You do not need to use any particular form of words. We will refund the full price you paid to the card or wallet you paid with, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day we receive your cancellation.

We aim to send access details within one working day of your payment, so the time in which you can cancel is short. If you are unsure about a course, read its page carefully before you pay, or ask us a question in the chat before you order.

Your other rights are not affected

Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for the purpose for which such content is usually supplied, and as we described it. If it is not, you are entitled to ask us to repair it or replace it. If we cannot do that within a reasonable time, or it has not worked, you may be entitled to a reduction in the price or to your money back. Contact us first so that we can put it right, and tell us what is wrong and where.

5.Access and licence

After your payment is confirmed we email your access details to the address you gave at checkout. We aim to do this within one working day. If nothing arrives, please check your spam folder and then contact us with your order reference.

From the day we send your access details you can watch the course for 24 months. You can return to the lessons as often as you like in that period. When it ends your access ends, and you may buy the course again if you wish to continue.

We license the course to you personally, for your own use as a single user. You must not:

  • share your access details, or let another person watch with them;
  • record, copy, capture or download the lessons, or take them out of the website by any other means;
  • upload, publish, resell or show the lessons to others, including colleagues and trainees, other than by letting them watch on their own licence.

If you buy courses for colleagues, each person needs their own purchase. If we reasonably believe that access is being misused, we may suspend it. We will tell you why and, if the misuse was a mistake that is put right, restore your access. Where access is withdrawn because you broke this section, we are not required to refund you.

To watch you need a current web browser and an internet connection. We cannot be responsible for problems caused by your device, your network or a school’s filtering software, but if you have trouble, write to us and we will help you find a way to watch.

6.Changes and withdrawal of a course

We may update a course from time to time, for example to correct a mistake, to improve a lesson or to keep it accurate. Updates are included in the access you have paid for, and you will not be charged for them.

We may stop selling a course at any time. Anyone who has already bought it keeps their access for the rest of their access period. If we have to withdraw a course that you have bought before your access period ends, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email and refund you for the unused part of the period, calculated month by month from the date the course is withdrawn, unless we offer you an equivalent course that you accept instead.

7.Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Otherwise, if we break these terms we are responsible for the loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach, up to the price you paid for the course concerned. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for loss of profit or business opportunity if you bought for a business purpose, or for decisions you take in your classroom or your school as a result of watching a course. The courses are general guidance, and you remain responsible for applying them in line with your school’s policies and the law.

8.Complaints

If you are unhappy with a course or with how we have treated you, email hello@learningandteachinghub.co.uk or use the chat, and tell us what has gone wrong and what you would like us to do. We will reply within 14 days, and we will tell you what we have found and what we propose.

If we cannot settle a complaint, you can get free, independent advice from Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer). Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), in which an independent body helps both sides reach an agreement without going to court, is available, and we will consider taking part in ADR if you ask us to. ADR is voluntary, and you do not have to use it before going to court.

9.Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from an order, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live and you may bring a claim in the courts there.

10.Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the law changes or when we change how the site works. The terms that apply to your order are those shown on this page on the day you placed it. A change never takes away access you have already paid for. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
